Filtration fabric for dewatering FGD gypsum in coal-fired power stations    

Filter belts made of SK synthetic fabric are used in vacuum belt filters to dewater the gypsum that accumulates during flue gas desulfurization in coal-fired power stations.

Stable FGD filter belt deployed for the fast and efficient dewatering of FGD gypsum in vacuum belt filters. A solution developed specifically for this application, ensures significantly greater air / water permeability and a filter cake with low residual moisture thanks to its large number of apertures. SK FGD filter belts are manufactured from Mono or Multi-Mono polyester fabrics and feature a flat hook seam connection.
